     Jérôme Le Breton                    


Jérôme Le Breton is an English speaking “notaire” and partner of Paris based Le Breton & Associés. He is also a former “avocat” of the Paris bar.

Le Breton & Associés, originally a family practice, has been in existence since the 16th century. Jerome joined the practice in 1995, following a number of years at De Pinna Scorers & John Venn of London, advising private UK investors in France and in a major City law firm (Linklaters), practising as a lawyer. 


Jerome mainly advises French and foreign professional investors such as Pillar Retail Europark Fund (British Land), Société de la Tour Eiffel, Pembroke Real Estate (Fidelity), DEGI and Marriott Hotels. Clients include private equity funds, institutional investors, developers, end-users and banks as well as high profile private clients, mostly foreign.

He regularly deals with the structuring of complex real estate transactions, both French and international, and more particularly acquisitions, real estate financing, leases, planning and construction law.

He has also recently produced a large number of due diligence reports in conjunction with law firms such as Bredin Prat, Weil Gotshal & Manges, DLA Piper, Latham & Watkins, Allen & Overy, Slaughter and May and Berwin Leighton Paisner. He also regularly operates significant real estate finance transactions for BNP Paribas, Eurohypo London Branch, Lloyds Bank and Morgan Stanley Bank International Limited.


Le Breton & Associés is a firm of 7 partners and 35 lawyers, who advise on and manage French property transactions in English and French as well as handle non-contentious family law matters such as estate settlement, matrimonial issues and tax and estate planning.
